COURSE OVERVIEW:

Based on the popular “Fatigue in Fasteners” webinar, this class explores the important subject of fatigue.

TOPICS INCLUDE:

This class provides an intermediate look at quality issues that are universally experienced throughout the fastener industry. This class is intended to broadly cover issues common to all segments of the industry, The class will categorize common problems into several different categories: those associated with raw material, forming, thread rolling, secondaries, handling, heat treating, and plating. In addition to identifying the problems, common causes and prevention activities will be reviewed and presented. The class will wrap‐up with a review of sorting technology and which of these common quality issues are capable of being detected.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

  • Anyone in engineering, quality, purchasing or sales in the aerospace industry
  • Those new to the fastener industry
  • Seasoned professionals who work with fasteners
