TOPICS INCLUDE:

This one-day class will begin by exploring basic measurement concepts such as resolution, accuracy, precision, linearity, and repeatability and reproducibility (R&R). We will then look at the common measuring tools employed in the fastener industry; micrometers, caliper, optical comparator, run-out gage, recess penetration gages, to name a few- how they work and are used. We will conclude by exploring common fastener characteristics and the measuring tools that are utilized to inspect them.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

This class is ideal for quality associates and quality lab personnel, anyone responsible for ISO 17025 accreditation, PPAP coordinators, engineering, quoting associates, technical sales, and anyone that wishes to learn more about fastener metrology.
