Have you ever looked at a customer print and grimaced because it looks like hieroglyphics? With so many different customer conventions, it is sometimes difficult to understand what the customer is trying to communicate. Although this one-day session is unlikely to explain everything a customer puts on a print, engineering drawings are never intended to be “open for interpretation”.
In this session we examine how drawing, dimensioning and tolerancing conventions get employed on fastener drawings. Along with classroom learning, students participate in multiple exercises and gain real-life examples of actual fastener prints.
